Arai has always been a leader in the helmet industry, so it’s no surprise that they’ve introduced a new full-face helmet. The Arai Quantic is a sleek, lightweight design with plenty of ventilation and comfort features. Read on to learn more about this new model from Arai and see if it might be right for you!
Peripherally Belted – PC Lexan shell
The shell is constructed of PC lexan and features an aerodynamic shape that offers an advantage in all wind conditions. The lightweight construction is also ECE 22.05/22.06 certified, which means Arai can confidently say it meets or exceeds safety standards in Europe and Australia.
The Arai RX-Q doesn’t just look cool, it also performs well. It offers excellent ventilation and protection from the elements, as well as a removable visor for those sunny days. The inner lining is removable and washable, so you can keep your helmet fresh and clean every time you ride.
2 Shell Sizes
Arai offers two shell sizes to fit a wide range of head circumferences:
- Small Shell Size (5.5-6.5) – recommended for riders with a head circumference between 55 – 60 cm, or 22 inches
- Large Shell Size (6.5-7.5) – recommended for riders with a head circumference between 61 – 65 cm, or 24 inches
Dry-Lex interior
Arai’s Dry-Lex liner is a moisture-wicking fabric that helps keep the rider’s head cool and dry. It also helps prevent odor, which is important in a helmet. If you’re like us, you’ve ridden in helmets that get so hot you can’t stand them after a few hours on the road. Arai has worked hard to make sure that doesn’t happen with their Quantic helmets!
Dry-Lex also reduces static electricity build up by creating an electric charge of its own as it moves through the fibers, resulting in no annoying shocks when you put your hands on any metal parts on your bike–like levers or pipes–or put them near your body parts where there are static sensitive items like cell phones or other electronics
Arai’s helmets also feature a built-in chin curtain that helps protect the rider’s neck from wind and cold. That may not sound like much, but it’s an important feature for any helmet. The wind can really bite if you’re riding in colder weather and if you don’t have something to protect your neck from the elements, it can get pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly.
Arai’s Quantic helmets also feature a ventilation system that keeps the rider’s head cool and dry. It also helps prevent odor, which is important in a helmet. If you’re like us, you’ve ridden in helmets that get so hot you can’t stand them after a few hours on the road.

VAS MAX Vision Pinlock anti-fog visor included
The VAS MAX Vision Pinlock anti-fog visor included with your Quantic is an easy way to keep your field of view clear and sharp, no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. This visor comes pre-installed on the helmet and has a removable section that allows you to swap it out for other Arai face shields.
The Pinlock system works by creating a seal between the two layers of the visor. The outer surface is treated with a special chemical coating that generates heat when exposed to UV rays from sunlight or indoor lighting. This causes condensation on both sides of the shield but prevents fogging because it only forms inside this double layer system—not just on the outside, like most other anti-fog treatments do!
The Pinlock system is easy to use; all you have to do is pop open the visor and press down on the button located on the outer surface of the helmet. This releases a small amount of air so that when it’s closed, there is no longer any pressure between the layers.
Emergency Release System (ERS) Cheek pads
The cheek pads are designed to be removed by the rider in a matter of seconds with just a few simple steps, making it easy to replace them with different thickness cheek pads.
The cheek pads are also designed to be easily adjustable by hand, which makes it easy for riders to customize their fit. This is a great feature that will allow you to adjust the helmet’s size and comfort level as needed.
The helmet’s shell is designed to be extremely tough, while also being lightweight and aerodynamic. The outer shell is made from an Aramid fiberglass composite material that was specifically designed to be strong enough to withstand impacts without adding bulk or weight.
The helmet also features a number of other features that are designed to make it more comfortable, such as the air vents and an adjustable visor.
The Arai Quantic features a new design, but is still safety and comfort quality you expect from Arai.
The Arai Quantic helmet is the first offering from Arai’s new “Quantic” line. The name refers to the fact that it’s made up of many parts that come together to create something different and new. The Quantic helmet is available in two different shell sizes, with a variety of color and graphic options. Both helmets are DOT-approved, but only one is Snell certified.
The smaller shell helmet is called the Quantic, and it’s available in 3 different graphics and 4 different exterior colors. It has a black visor with a mirrored finish, as well as a clear visor option. The larger shell helmet is called the Quantic GT, and it’s available in 5 different graphics and 6 different exterior colors. It has a clear visor option only.
The Quantic is a great helmet for anyone who wants a high-quality, comfortable helmet at an affordable price. It has everything you need to stay safe on the road, including: The visor on both helmets is optically correct, scratch-resistant and anti-fog coated.
