AGV Pista GP-RR Carbon Fiber Helmet Review

The Pista GP-RR is a race helmet, which means it’s lightweight and has more ventilation than other helmets. The Pista GP-RR is also made from carbon fiber, so it’s lighter than other helmets on the market. It comes in two sizes: medium and large (there are no extra small or extra large sizes).

The Pista GP-RR is a full face helmet, meaning that it protects your chin and jaw area as well as your head. The visor has five vents that can be adjusted to let air in or keep dust out of your eyes when you’re tearing up the tracks at high speed!

The helmet is used by some of the world’s fastest motorcycle racers, including Marc Marquez, who won last year’s MotoGP Championship. It has a unique design and a unique safety rating that sets it apart from other helmets on the market.

If you’re looking for the helmet worn by some of the fastest motorcycle racers in the world, this is your guy. The Pista GP-RR Carbon Fiber Helmet is a top choice among riders and racers because it offers high levels of protection and comfort, plus an aerodynamic design that can make all the difference when chasing down that first place finish. It has been used by such luminaries as Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo, who have won multiple MotoGP races while wearing it.

Design and Features

The Pista GP-RR has a full carbon fiber shell, with carbon fiber visor, chin guard and crown. The helmet also features a carbon fiber neck roll to protect your neck from the wind and other debris while riding.

The helmet is equipped with a chin vent that allows air to flow through to keep you cool on hot days.

The spoiler is made of polypropylene and comes in 4 different colors for you to choose from: black/carbon blue, black/silver white white red or silver white red

Materials and Construction

The shell of the Pista GP-RR is made from carbon fiber and fiberglass. The outer layer is a carbon weave, which helps to protect the helmet from damage and makes it lighter. The inner layer is a more rigid woven fabric that holds everything together, making for a balanced finish so you don’t have any loose spots or seams when you put on this helmet.

The interior lining of the helmet features mesh padding in three different places: around your cheeks, at the top of your head, and behind your ears (where some helmets only have one or two). The mesh allows air to flow through freely while keeping sweat off of your face so that it doesn’t drip down into your eyes while riding. This can be especially important if you ride long distances in hot weather!

There are also two foam lines on either side of where your neck meets up with your jawline; these act as extra protection against impact should an accident occur while wearing this helmet

Visor and Ventilation

The visor is made of polycarbonate and is adjustable. The face shield has a wide range of vision, which is great for those that want to be able to see everything in front of them. The visor also offers a pinlock insert, which helps prevent fogging up on cold days and provides better visibility overall.

The ventilation system works well for keeping the rider comfortable and reducing their fatigue over long distances or during hot weather conditions. Both the chin vent and eyeport are adjustable via a slider mechanism on each side so you can control how much air comes in through each one without having to remove your hand from either side’s controls (though doing so won’t affect how much you’re able to adjust either).

Ventilation

The helmet features a chin vent and a brow vent, both of which are adjustable. The chin vent can be opened or closed by loosening its two opposing screws; once they’re loosened, you can adjust the width of the opening with your fingertips. The brow vent is fixed in place and can’t be adjusted; it’s designed to channel air over your eyebrows as you ride, helping keep you cool on hot days.

The helmet also comes with a removable nose guard that extends around your nose like an eyebrow guard—it’s used to protect against rocks kicked up by other riders during races, if that’s something you need protection from (and I think we can all agree that no one needs protection from rocks). Finally, there’s also a rear spoiler at the back of this helmet where it meets your head—this is meant to reduce turbulence and wind drag for better aerodynamics when flying down straightaways or racing against opponents who are trying really hard not to lose points because they need them so badly!

Visor

The visor on the Pista GP-RR is a double bubble design that can be removed and replaced with another visor if you want to change its color. The visor has an anti-scratch coating and is made of polycarbonate. It also has a sun visor, which you can flip down to reduce glare when riding in bright sunlight. The sun visor will keep you safe while riding at night or early in the morning when it’s still dark outside.

The helmet’s visor also includes an automatic anti-fog system, which uses two fans inside the helmet to prevent fogging up when riding in cold temperatures or humid climates such as rainforests or jungles where dew tends to accumulate on windows due to high humidity levels caused by rain storms passing through these areas every day during monsoon season.”

Interior Liner

The interior liner is made of polyester and can be removed to clean.

This is a nice feature because it allows you to clean the interior as needed, which might come in handy if you wear glasses or have other debris on your head.

Safety Rating

The AGV Pista GP-RR is certified by the DOT, ECE 22.05 and AS/NZS 1698, which are all valid for use in the US and Australia respectively. The AGV Pista GP-RR does not meet the safety requirements for a full face helmet, as it is an open face helmet that does not have any chin bar protection.

Comfort and Fitment

This helmet is a great fit for many head sizes, but it’s not the best choice if you have a fat head (a common problem among American men). The helmet fits snugly, but not too tight—it doesn’t feel heavy on your head.

As far as race helmets go, the AGV Pista GP-RR is a top choice.

The AGV Pista GP-RR Carbon Fiber helmet is a top choice for race helmets. It’s been used by many top racers, and has an excellent safety rating. This helmet is lightweight and comfortable, but also provides excellent ventilation to keep your head cool while you’re on the track.

The Pista GP-RR has a fiberglass shell with carbon fiber side pods and chin spoiler for added protection in case of a crash. The visor can be removed when needed, or flipped up when not needed (like during pit stops).

Conclusion

The Pista GP-RR is a serious helmet and one that can be worn by anyone who wants to feel like one of the racers. The fitment is excellent and the comfort level is second to none. This is a great helmet for the experienced rider or racer looking for something higher end than your typical street lid.”
